Hot Salsa Night or Salsatech is what you will find on Cafe Vesterå´s 1st floor (Vesterå 4, 9000 Aalborg) every Thursday night when Latin Salsa Club takes over the floor for exotic and cheerful rhythms of Latin American, Colombian, Cuban, Caribbean and Brazilian music and much much more! DJ Ezat has been playing Latin music in the club since 2003 and since then has been developing his skills and teaching techniques in UK, Germany, France & USA. Accordingly, you can expect to receive an unforgettable dancing experience every Thursday night with the newest Latin music from USA.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM OUR CLASS?

Every class has a duration of 55 minutes. What the lessons have in common is, that they all are divided into three modules:

  • 1st module contains a warm up with Latin American rhythms and an introduction to the basic steps of salsa, bachata.
  • 2nd module consists of individual couple dancing and a regular change of dance partners. It improves the dancers moves and increases the learning abilities. More than that, you will develop communication skills and enlarge your social network. In this module your partner and you are able to dance independently by deciding on the tempo that fits your confidence level and dancing abilities.
  • Finally, 3rd module includes joint couple dancing with the emphasis on correct performance of the steps in accordance to the rhythm and time.

Two styles of Salsa: Cuban & Rueda de Casino;

Standard Bachata.

What to Wear in a Dance Class?

As with all dance classes, there are a few things that you may need to consider:

Recommended Footwear:

Ladies: For the salsa or bachata class – court shoes with a small strong heel;

Men: For the salsa or bachata class – leather-soled shoes with a slight heel.

It’s a lot of hot work, so dress up casual, comfortable and not too warm!
